Caution to non-compliant public authorities
The New York State Authorities Budget Office has released a report that identifies those state and local authorities that have not filed a budget, annual and/or audit report as of January 27, 2012, for the most recent reporting period as required by the Public Authorities Law. The ABO considers these authorities out of compliance with State law. The ABO’s objective in releasing the list is to advise the directors and management of these authorities, pursuant to section 6(2)(f) of the Public Authorities Law, of their compliance status.
