Welcome to the Public Authorities Blog!

July 28, 2011

The Public Authorities Blog is produced by the Government Law Center at Albany Law School as part of its Public Authorities Project. The goal of the Public Authorities Project is to provide information and analysis concerning the laws, practices and proposed reforms relating to state and local public authorities in New York.

Contributors include:

  • Scott Fein, partner at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna and director of the Public Authorities Project
  • Patty Salkin, Director of the Government Law Center, Associate Dean and Distinguished Professor of Law at Albany Law School
  • Amy Lavine, staff attorney at the Government Law Center

More information about public authorities is available at the Government Law Center’s Public Authorities Information Clearinghouse, a searchable database of books, articles, reports, court opinions, and other resources.
