New York’s Authority Budget Office Garners Out-of-State Attention

A NJ College report critical of the lack of transparency and fragmentation of public authorities points to one reform that can make a difference. The William Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton College suggests that establishing an entity to help oversee public authorities “like the Authorities Budget Office in New York would be a comprehensive and systematic approach to increasing transparency.”
